This listing is for a ceramic wheel thrown baking dish. They are glazed in a speckled burnt orange glaze. They fit a 4.5” wheel of cheese, but can be used to bake all sorts of things (like garlic confit and small apple cobbler portions).
These are discounted because each baker has some degree of glaze crawling where the glaze came away from the piece in firing. They are still safe to use.
Baking instructions: Bake according to your recipe, but in general, this dish does well at 350°F. I suggest heating your ceramic dish with the preheat cycle, but if that isn’t possible for your recipe, load the dish into the oven when it is room temperature, and not straight from the refrigerator.
Note: You are purchasing from a lot of multiple, but they all are almost exactly the same.
